A long-term industrial target

WEG told ECO that it aims for approximately €200 million in Portugal revenue by 2030 and €400 million by 2035. Current Portuguese operations employ about 900 people and produce around 10,000 motors a year, with most output exported.

The company is also preparing to manufacture electric-vehicle chargers. Targets over nine years depend on investment, demand, capacity and execution and should not be treated as guaranteed results.

Jobs and supplier work require separate confirmation

A growth announcement can lead to recruitment and procurement, but it is not a vacancy list. Candidates should check the official careers channel for role, location, qualifications and contract details.

Suppliers should verify the WEG entity and buyer before sending pricing, technical files or sensitive company information. An unsolicited request for a fee or credentials is not validated by the public announcement.
