IN BRIEF

Eligible residents can identify the published stop for their area without confusing the mobile service with an emergency department or a replacement for every booked appointment.

  • The unit is scheduled for two village stops on each Tuesday in September.
  • On 1 September it is due at the Borda da Ribeira association in the morning and Largo da Igreja in São Martinho in the afternoon.
  • The service is intended to support prevention, chronic-condition follow-up and links with other community services.
  • The published report does not make the mobile unit an emergency service or guarantee that every procedure is available at every stop.

The September route

Later Tuesday stops are planned for Fundada and São João do Peso on 8 September, Vale das Casas and Milreu on 15 September, Casais de Baixo and Vilar do Ruivo on 22 September, and Estevais and Lousa on 29 September.

Morning and afternoon locations differ. Confirm the current timetable before travelling, especially if transport depends on another person or the municipal on-demand service.

02

What to bring and when to use another service

Bring identification, the SNS user number if available, an up-to-date medication list and any instruction connected to the planned review. Ask beforehand if the visit requires an appointment or a document that is not named in the public notice.

Use the normal health-centre or hospital instruction for a booked clinical appointment. For urgent guidance contact SNS 24, and call 112 for a medical emergency; do not wait for the next village stop.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

What you can do now.

  1. 01

Confirm the date, half-day and exact village stop before leaving home.

  2. 02

Prepare identification, medication information and relevant health records.

  3. 03

Use SNS 24 or 112 when the need cannot wait for the mobile route.
