01

What visitors will find

The eighth Green Market Madeira is the first to be held in Ribeira Brava. Its stalls and activities focus on regional production, crafts, reuse, mobility and more sustainable everyday choices.

The programme includes talks, a sustainable-cooking demonstration, children's workshops, live music and free health screening. Availability and individual activity times can change, so visitors with one specific activity in mind should check the organiser's latest programme.

02

Plan a simple visit

The event is at Nova Praça and is due to run until 20:00. Entry is free, but purchases from traders and food stalls are paid directly to them.

Anyone using the textile collection point should take only clean clothing, footwear or household textiles in usable condition. Use local parking and public-space instructions rather than stopping in a way that blocks residents or emergency access.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

What you can do now.

  1. 01

Check the latest programme before travelling.

  2. 02

Bring usable textiles only if using the collection point.

  3. 03

Allow time for parking or local transport.
