December pension supplement clears the final presidential stage

What has been approved
The Government announced a €200 supplement for pension totals up to the social-support index, €150 above that level and up to twice the index, and €100 above twice and up to three times the index. The stated upper reference is about €1,611.39 per month.
The Presidency's promulgation removes the final political approval stage for the decree. Publication and the implementing payment records still matter, so pensioners should use the official Social Security or Caixa Geral de Aposentações information for their own case.
Do not pay anyone to unlock it
The Government says the supplement will be paid automatically. A message asking for a bank fee, password or card code to release the payment should be treated as suspicious.
Check the pension statement after payment and use an authenticated official channel if the amount appears wrong. A family member can help review the record, but should not ask for credentials or impersonate the pensioner online.
