IN BRIEF

Admission is by arrival order during a set evening window; capacity and an individual place cannot be guaranteed in advance.

  • Admission runs from 20:30 to 22:30 and departure is by 09:00.
  • The centre accepts men, women, people with reduced mobility and people accompanied by pets.
  • CASA Porto operates the clothing bank, while specialist staff handle admission and support.
01

What the centre provides

The centre has toilets, outdoor shower facilities, breakfast, clean clothing and social follow-up as well as a bed. Dedicated boxes allow a person to stay with a companion animal.

It is a night response rather than permanent housing. Continued casework, health care and a longer-term housing route remain separate needs.

02

How admission works

People arrive between 20:30 and 22:30 and are referred to available beds by the on-site team. The centre operates every day, but order-of-arrival admission means a specific place cannot be promised by an article.

For an immediate social emergency elsewhere or when the centre cannot meet the need, use the national social-emergency route or the competent local service. Call 112 only for an urgent threat to life or safety.
