01

A traditional fair returns to its former site

The Feira de São Miguel is returning to Largo da Feira a decade after its last edition. The municipality describes a broad programme built around regional products, crafts, food and evening entertainment rather than a single headline concert.

The vehicle display includes cars and agricultural machinery, reflecting the fair's commercial and rural roots. Individual traders and activities may use their own prices even where access to the fair area is open.

02

Plan for a busy evening area

The fair remains open until midnight on all five days. Nearby roads, parking and pedestrian routes are therefore likely to be busier, particularly at the weekend and around evening meal times.

Families should agree a meeting point and keep children close in crowded areas. Anyone sensitive to noise or with limited mobility should check the site layout and choose an earlier, quieter visiting time where possible.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

What you can do now.

  1. 01

Choose a day and arrive earlier if you prefer a quieter visit.

  2. 02

Check the latest council notice for programme or traffic changes.

  3. 03

Use a legal parking area outside the busiest approach where practical.
