Intense rain entered Oeiras Parque on Sunday afternoon and damaged part of an internal ceiling covering. Firefighters attended, the immediate area was isolated and the shops directly affected were closed while the structure was assessed.
No one was hurt. Early reports do not support describing this as a wider building collapse, and the operational position may change after inspection and clean-up.
