Archived 12 September 2026Activities take place across several central Montijo venues rather than a single festival building.
- The festival runs on Saturday and Sunday, 3 and 4 October.
- The programme includes exhibitions, workshops, presentations and discussions on independent publishing and AI in art.
- Venues include the municipal library, Casa Mora and spaces around Quinta do Pátio d'Água.
A city-centre programme across several spaces
The Union of Parishes of Montijo and Afonsoeiro organizes the event with Associação Tentáculo and municipal support. Portuguese and Galician artists, publishers and collectives are represented.
The publishing and illustration fair runs alongside workshops and presentations. Saturday also includes live drawing in the evening, while Sunday's programme closes earlier.
Check the venue before each activity
The library, museum, garden, chapel and parish premises host different parts of the programme. Save the address for the activity rather than navigating only to 'the festival'.
Use the organizer's timetable to confirm workshop entry and session capacity. Families should also check the recommended age and duration for the chosen activity.
