IN BRIEF

The announcement strengthens Portugal's role in the company's European operation, but it is not a general recruitment offer and individual vacancies need separate confirmation.

  • The base will coordinate sales, imports, after-sales and marketing across 41 markets.
  • The company describes about 40 professionals in the structure and roughly 30 new jobs.
  • Tramagal remains the company's European production site.
01

A wider coordination role from Portugal

The new base brings European commercial and coordination functions to Portugal, covering imports, sales, after-sales, marketing and distribution or development work across 41 markets. Current reports describe a team of around 40 people and approximately 30 new positions.

The Tramagal plant remains the production anchor. A coordination-base announcement does not by itself change an existing supplier contract or guarantee work to a local company.

02

Treat jobs and supplier claims separately

Candidates should rely on Mitsubishi Fuso's official vacancy channel for role, location, language and contract requirements. A press report about the total does not establish that every post is currently open.

Suppliers should verify the procurement entity and contact before sharing commercial information. Requests for fees, credentials or sensitive documents outside a known company channel require independent confirmation.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

What you can do now.

  1. 01

Use the company's official careers channel for live vacancies.

  2. 02

Check the employing entity and work location in the contract.

  3. 03

Verify procurement contacts before sharing supplier information.
