After a week of late-night concerts, Madeira's north-coast festas finish with a band, a 16:00 Mass and procession, and an early-evening performance in the village centre.

- The final-day programme begins at 12:00 with the Banda Filarmónica da Casa do Povo de São Vicente.
- A solemn Mass and procession in honour of the Blessed Sacrament begins at 16:00.
- The band returns at 18:00, followed by Seci Pisas at 18:30.
- The advertised final day ends at midnight, but the main public programme is concentrated in the afternoon and early evening.
The closing day has a different rhythm
Earlier nights brought large concerts and DJs to São Vicente. Sunday returns the focus to the local band, religious observance and a shorter closing programme. That makes the final day suitable for visitors looking for tradition, but not for anyone expecting the same timetable as Friday or Saturday.
The village centre is likely to remain busy, and mountain and north-coast driving can take longer than a map estimate. Leave margin for parking and avoid stopping on narrow access roads.
Check conditions before crossing the island
Madeira's weather can differ sharply between the south coast, high ground and São Vicente. Check the road route and the latest local weather before leaving, especially if travelling through the mountains.
A procession can temporarily affect traffic through the centre. Follow local signs and steward directions, and allow the event to finish before trying to drive through a crowded street.
