Leiria Castle will turn white for a late-summer music night
Leiria Branca returns on 5 September with DJs, a white dress theme and a solidarity contribution from wristband sales. The event takes place inside the city’s hilltop castle.

A party in the castle
The third Leiria Branca brings electronic music back to the castle above the city. Its line-up includes Simone, The Freak Deejays and Christian F., with the monument itself doing much of the work that a conventional venue would leave to staging.
White clothing is part of the event’s identity. It is an invitation rather than practical guidance, so choose shoes for stone, slopes and a long evening before choosing the rest of the outfit.
This edition has a local cause
The 2026 theme is Reerguer Leiria. Organisers say one third of the revenue from wristband sales will be directed to the associated solidarity effort.
