Archived 12 September 2026Travellers now have another Lisbon departure point, but the correct terminal remains the one printed on the individual ticket.
- Sete Rios operations began on 29 September.
- FlixBus lists 23 daily schedules from the terminal.
- Destinations include Portuguese cities and cross-border services to Spain.
- Not every FlixBus service has moved from Oriente.
A second major Lisbon terminal
The first Sete Rios programme includes services to Coimbra, Porto, Braga, Guimarães, Viseu, Covilhã, Castelo Branco, Faro, Lagos and Spanish destinations including Madrid, Salamanca, Seville and A Coruña.
The number is a published schedule total, not a promise that every destination runs at every hour or every day. Other services continue to use Oriente, so a familiar route may still depart from its previous terminal.
Read the ticket before travelling
Check the terminal name, platform guidance and live service status on the booking. Sete Rios and Oriente are different parts of Lisbon; going to the wrong one can make a valid ticket unusable.
Allow time for local transport and terminal navigation, especially with luggage or reduced mobility. Contact the operator for accessibility arrangements rather than assuming facilities or assistance are identical at both terminals.
What you can do now.
- 01
Confirm Sete Rios or Oriente on the individual ticket.
- 02
Check live departure information before leaving.
- 03
Allow extra time on the first journey from a new terminal.
