Archived 12 September 2026More than 134,000 registered Brazilian voters are expected to vote in Portugal; the correct venue depends on the voter's consular jurisdiction and electoral registration.
- The first round is on Sunday, 4 October.
- Portugal has voting posts in Lisbon, Porto and Faro.
- The official e-Título app or TSE lookup gives the voter's exact section and address.
Do not choose a polling place by proximity
Portugal is divided between the Lisbon, Porto and Faro consular jurisdictions. A voter must attend the location assigned to the electoral record rather than whichever city is most convenient.
TSE says voters can check the address, electoral zone and section in the official e-Título app or through its online polling-place service. Checking in advance matters because the Portuguese electorate is large and queues are possible.
Prepare the official record before travelling
Open the official service and save the assigned place and section. Take an accepted identification document and follow the current instructions from the responsible Brazilian consulate.
Polling is scheduled from 08:00 to 17:00. Rules and documentation come from Brazil's electoral authorities; a social-media post or an old election address should not replace the current official lookup.
What you can do now.
- 01
Check the polling place in e-Título or on the TSE website.
- 02
Read the notice from the responsible consulate.
- 03
Plan the route and allow time for queues.
