IN BRIEF

Residents, deliveries and anyone travelling near Infias should plan another daytime route and confirm access before a time-sensitive visit.

  • Work is scheduled to start on 26 August.
  • Traffic and parking are restricted between 09:00 and 18:00.
  • Resident access will be maintained where the work allows it.
  • Weather or site conditions may extend the 60-day programme.
01

What closes

Braga municipality has announced resurfacing on Rua de São José and Travessa de São José in the parish of São Victor. From 26 August, traffic and parking are due to be closed on both streets between 09:00 and 18:00.

The planned duration is 60 days. Access for residents will be protected where possible, but that wording does not guarantee that every driveway can be reached at every moment of the work.

02

Part of a wider mobility programme

The streets sit in an area already affected by wider work connected with the Nó de Infias project. That means the best detour can change as the larger scheme moves through its phases.

The municipality says the resurfacing period can be adjusted for weather, progress or additional needs, including extensions in one-week blocks.

03

Plan deliveries and appointments

Residents should ask the contractor or municipality how access will work on the day of a move, delivery or mobility-related journey. Businesses should give suppliers a route and time window rather than assume the driver will find a way through.

Use signed diversions and leave extra time during weekday hours. Check again before travelling because a 60-day project will not affect every section in exactly the same way each day.
