Barreiro hospital receives a new emergency medical vehicle

A VMER brings advanced medical and resuscitation capacity to incidents and works with ambulances and other emergency resources. The Barreiro team serves the wider Arco Ribeirinho area according to dispatch needs.
The renewal changes the vehicle available to the team; it does not alter which number the public calls or guarantee that this specific resource attends every incident.

For an immediate threat to life, call 112, state the exact location and answer the operator's questions. Do not drive toward the hospital or follow an emergency vehicle unless instructed and safe to do so.
