- The minister described works on eight islands.
- The programme includes different facilities and project stages.
- Some tenders have failed to attract bids, creating timing uncertainty.
A region-wide programme at different stages
The Justice Ministry describes approximately €4 million in infrastructure interventions across eight islands. The projects are intended to improve courts and other justice facilities, but they are not all at the same design, procurement or construction stage.
A regional total should not be read as the budget or completion date for one courthouse. Individual project records and notices remain the reliable source for each location.
Procurement is part of the delivery risk
The minister acknowledged that some tenders have been deserted. A failed procurement can require revised specifications, price or timing before work can proceed.
People using a facility should follow the relevant court or justice-service notice for temporary entrances, relocations or service changes. The investment announcement alone does not alter today's appointment.
What you can do now.
- 01
Check the specific court or service for current access arrangements.
- 02
Follow official procurement and project notices for the island concerned.
- 03
Do not infer a completion date from the regional investment total.
