IN BRIEF

Businesses and public or research organisations can prepare projects earlier, but each call will have its own eligible applicants, costs and deadlines.

  • The plan contains 18 calls with a combined allocation above €32 million.
  • Calls are scheduled through August 2027.
  • Covered areas include productive innovation, research, digitalisation and energy efficiency.
  • The annual plan is not approval of an individual application.
01

What has been announced

The new Algarve 2030 annual notice plan schedules 18 calls with more than €32 million in total funding. The published areas include productive innovation, research, digitalisation, biotechnology, technological infrastructure, decarbonisation and energy efficiency.

Advance publication is meant to give potential applicants time to prepare. The exact scope, co-financing rate, evidence and eligible expenditure will come from each formal call.

02

Prepare before the call opens

A credible application starts with a project that is needed and financially workable, not with a funding percentage. Define the outcome, partners, permissions, timetable, cash flow and measurable results before adapting it to a notice.

Check whether expenditure is eligible before committing to it. Costs incurred too early, procurement errors or a mismatch between applicant and call can make an otherwise useful project ineligible.

WHAT TO DO NEXT

What you can do now.

  1. 01

Identify the calls relevant to the project.

  2. 02

Prepare the budget, evidence and permissions early.

  3. 03

Do not incur costs until the eligibility date is clear.
