Figueira da Foz

Figueira da Foz is a real regional city at the mouth of the Mondego, not only a summer beach resort. The centre combines the riverfront, market, railway station and everyday services; Buarcos adds a historic fishing-quarter character; and residential areas extend inland through Tavarede.
